Lorraine Harrington
BTEC National Diploma Level 4 qualified (Area Manager & SENCO).
Lorraine joined the company on its opening day in 2005 as Deputy Manager at Rendlesham Day Nursery for 3 years before opening and successfully managing Bridge Farm Day Nursery in 2008. She is highly qualified and dedicated and in 2011 took on the role of Area Manager with overall charge of Rendlesham, Bridge Farm and our two after school clubs.
She has a daughter of her own and enjoys spending time with her going for days out to the beach and  the forest. In January 2015 Lorraine opened the "Bridge Farm Pre-school"  ensuring that the children attending have all the skills required for a smooth transition to primary school.

Jenna Scopes, Manager, started with the company on it’s very first day in April 2005 as an apprentice. With her ability to adapt and ensure that everything is running smoothly, she has progressed through the company from Nursery Nurse to Toddler Room Supervisor, Deputy Manager and now to Manager. Her success has been based on hard work and a natural affinity and connection with children of all ages. Jenna has real enthusiasm for providing the highest quality childcare and ensuring that the children are learning through fun experiences. Jenna now has two children of her own and is NVQ Level 5 qualified. She lives in Rendlesham and has ensured that both she and the nursery have become an integral part of the community.

Clare Thrower, Deputy Manager, joined the company as a pre-school nursery nurse in January 2007. She has since progressed through being pre-school room supervisor and now to Deputy Manager. During this time Clare has achieved a CACHE Diploma Level 4 qualification and is also in charge of training, ensuring that all our staff are as qualified as possible and providing the best possible childcare for the children at the nursery. Clare is extremely popular with the parents and children and is known to all children (and some parents!) as ‘Clare Bear’. She has a great ability to connect to the children and ensure they have a fun time whilst learning and preparing for school. She is also extremely organised and plays a vital role in the administration of the nursery.

Maria Joannou is our baby room supervisor and has an amazing calming influence on the babies in her care. Having had children of her own Maria came to us in 2007 on a temporary basis. It became obvious immediately that she was exceptional at caring for babies and so was taken on permanently as a nursery nurse and then as room supervisor. Since joining the nursery she has achieved a CACHE Level 2 Play worker qualification and a Level 3 NVQ in Early Years and Childcare. She has developed the baby room into a calm, fun and safe environment for the children and is very highly thought of by the parents who entrust their babies to her care.

Ellie Perry is the Toddler Room Supervisor. Ellie started at Rendlesham Nursery as a trainee in July 2012 and has since qualified with a level three CACHE certificate.
Since starting with us Ellie has proven to be a real asset to the team with stacks of patience and organisation and so when her predecessor went on maternity leave, Ellie was the obvious candidate for the supervisors role. She has a very adaptable nature and particularly enjoys planning fun and stimulating activities for the children in her care. Ellie is softly spoken and warm with the children, making sure that their home routines are also implemented as closely as possible at nursery. With these measures in place she ensures each child has their individual needs met.

Michelle Friend is the joint Preschool Room Supervisor and was recruited to the nursery in August 2011 having previously worked as a nursery nurse in another setting. Michelle has been amazing at proving a fun and nurturing experience for the preschoolers and ensures they are prepared to move up to school. Within Michelle's time at Rendlesham Day Nursery she has worked in all the rooms and has found her natural place with the preschool children. This is down to her calm and organised nature allowing the 3-5 year olds time to learn and develop according to their own individual needs. Michelle works extremely well with her colleagues Steph and Annie to ensure the children are receiving the best possible care. Michelle has a Level  4 NVQ in Children's learning care and development.

Stephanie Clarke  is the  joint Preschool Room Supervisor and was recruited to the nursery in May 2015 having previously worked in school and Holiday clubs in the Ipswich area. With her experience, background and a degree in Early Childhood studies, she was a perfect candidate for the position as Pre-school supervisor.  Stephanie is a mother herself and particularly enjoys being outdoors. Stephanie is calm, friendly and always has a big smile on her face which makes her a really approachable person. She has a self-processed love of extra training which aids her continual professional development. Steph provides a wonderful range of activities to challenge the children and help them develop to their full potential. She is bubbly and fun to be around, a real asset to the team.
